Oh well, this was the second time for us to play at
Lentepop. We were pretty much exited! Based on the idea
that Lentepop is getting more and more a metal-based
festival (yeah....you dig it or not eh..) we decided
to make a setlist for 45 minutes sharp, which resulted
in 7 songs having the "bang-your-head" but
also "sing along" feel. It's not easy to suit
everyone at a festival, but I think we did it quite
well, I saw some heavy metalists going pretty wild on
the "softer" songs of the set. Let's start
with the setlist:
1. It's not impossible
2. Black gold
3. Questions
4. The wrong kind of fun
5. Kingdom come
6. One by one
7. Spread your wings
We have put all the gear in our studio near So What
before the gig, that was pretty easy and fast . When
we entered So What, it looked like we took way too much
stuff with us, but we have setup the stuff pretty quick!
Due to the perfect help of the Lentepop-people the changes
went very quick and easy!
The first song was one of the album Dust on the mirror
and also the only one, all the other material was new,
written with the whole band. Immediately it seemed that
we all were not really nervous, but more extremely wild
and happy to play again for audience. We jumped around
and the energy was extreme, everyone noticed that and
the audience was wild too :-) After three songs I felt
I gave everything, but we had still 4 songs to go, pretty
tough, I am considering doing some sports!
For some reason we judge our songs wrong, the songs
we consider: "mmm, nice but not a big hit..."
were the best songs based on the audience reactions;
pretty weird! After the gig (we were a few minutes over
time, but no one blamed us for that) we had to move
quick and we went back to talk with the people, sell
CD's and more things like that. It was obvious people
digged the gig very much, which is very awesome to hear.
We hope to play soon for you (the audience) again and
do some sports again :-)
Thanx for beeing there!
